I'm not counting days because I'm bored or have nothing to do. It is just to remind me that time is not waiting for me for even a blink of an eye. Since this week I have nothing to do yet except replace classes. So, this is what I do... I mix up with senior teacher. Not talking to much yet but getting to know them.
The result is... I was so lucky to be here in Temalir. They are nice. The facilities might be not up-to-date but yet lucky me compared to others.
The other thing I did was getting the documents of "Guru Sandaran Terlatih Siswazah" acceptance, registration for e-application for Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Pelajaran (SPP), register myself for Induction Course and Biro Tata Negara (BTN) since I have not having a chance to do when I was study and went for medical check-up.
To register for SPP, this is the link:
e-Permohonan Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Pelajaran (SPP)
For Induction Course, here is the link to get the form:
Borang Permohonan Bagi Mengikuti Kursus Induksi
For medical check-up, you can get the form from JPN or download here:

For Biro Tata Negara, you can find it in the web or download it here:
BTN
I hope I will be able to attend the induction and BTN course soon as this will effect my confirmation as permanent teacher!

August 6, 2009 - Fourth Day at School and I'm Out for a Course
August 6th is my fourth day at school. I was asked to represent English department to a course " Kursus Kecemerlangan P&P Bahasa Inggeris PPD Kuala Krai at SK. Telkung. This course basically the final meeting for Year 6 teachers before UPSR. There are Guru Cemerlang and pemeriksa kertas peperiksaan Bahasa Inggeris who shared their ideas and techniques in answering Bahasa Inggeris paper.
Nothing much I can shared because honestly I'm blurred since I'm new and I'm not teaching Year 6 yet. I do not know what are the problems pupils in my school faced and what are the ways of answering they are using now.
Problem solving:
1. I have to be prepared before the meeting. Get to know the objectives of the meeting/course.
I was glad because the person from JPN Kelantan listened to my problem and he promised to meet up my friends and I who were just got posted in Kelantan for intensive course on teaching English to Year 6 pupils.

Teaching Materials
Since I am new to the school, I most likely was asked to relief classes who are teachers away for courses or meetings. So, I have to be prepared with activities for the pupils from Year 1 till Year 6.
Children love to sing. So, I have downloaded a few children songs and nursery rhymes a long time before and keep it. Here I would like to share a few links.
Barney - I Love You
Barney - If You Happy and You Know It
Barney - Mr. Sun
Old McDonald Had a Farm

August 5, 2009 - Trip to MRSM Kuala Krai
Today is my 3rd day at school. A new experience for me. I need to bring a group of pupils to "MRSM Kuala Krai Open Day". I was so happy but worried to because this is the first time I have to take care about 40 pupils. I'm so lucky because there are 2 other teachers went with me.
There are not so much problem because the pupils behave well in the bus and also at the open day except for one pupils who was not used to travel and she was vomit for a few times.
Here are some pictures taken by one of the teacher.

August 3, 2009 - First day at school
Today is my first day at school. Yesterday, I was so nervous during when I was given a letter stated the school that im going to be posted. SEKOLAH KEBANGSAAN TEMALIR. "Where is it?". That was the first question came to my mind. After asking a few people, my parents and I managed to find the school.
First impression :
1) the teachers are cool. They greeted my parents and I very well.
2) the school is beautiful and new. the truth is the school not so new but there are new builings.
So, time to decide. Stay at my parents' house which is about 75km (1hour drive) or to stay in school hostel?
*wink*
Stay at home because its been years I stay apart from my parent. So, before I have my own family, why dont I take this opportunity to "manja2" with them.. ahaks
So, today I drive to school. It is a new thing for me and its tiring. But to see faces of children, it makes me happy and put the tiredness away.

Assalamualaikum
Hi! I'm Siti Hafiza binti Shamsuddin.I've been blogging for years and this is my 4th blogs. This blog created with the intention to share my little knowledge in teaching. I do hope that I can get others' opinion and this blog can be use as the medium for me to connect and interact with other teachers all around Malaysia and world perhaps.
Before that, let me introduce myself. Every relationship must begin with the step of getting to know each other, right?. I was born on 5th January 1985.. it is about 25 years ago. I have spent my 25 years of life at Kampung Pak Badol, Melor, Kota Bharu, Kelantan with my parents and my 2 elder brothers and an elder sister. When I was small, people did call me Siti or Adik but then, I did feel that I'm older enough to be called adik when I was in secondary school. So now, friends call me Za or Fiza. (but my siblings and parents still call me Adik.. cannot change the truth, right?)
I got my first formal education at Pusat Asuhan Islam (PASTI) Kampung Serdang. Just near my house. Then, I went to Sekolah Kebangsaan Pak Badol from Year 1 till Year 6 for my primary education. I enjoy my 6 years of being there. Then, i went for my secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pak Badol but after a month, i was accepted to study at Sekolah Menengah Kebnagsaan Dato' Ahmad Maher, Kota Bharu. After Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR), I further my secondary education at MRSM Kota Putra, Besut.
I was so happy as I was accepted to further my study at UiTM, Shah Alam in Fast Track Accountancy course but after a semester and I was accepted to twinning program between Ministry of Education and local university for B.Ed TESL, I halfheartedly agreed with my other's wish for me to become a teacher...
Today, after 6 years of struggle and hardship (4 years at IPPM,Malacca and 2 years at IIUM, Gombak) I am a teacher.. giving my best to educate my pupils.. my first school is Sekolah Kebangsaan Temalir, Kuala Krai... insyaAllah.. i will do my best...
I would like to share my experiences in teaching. I am glad to read others too..
